BOTOX
BOTOX

What is Botox?

The tiny facial muscles that create facial expression, such as smiling and frowning, over time may become overactive causing wrinkles to develop. Botox or botulinum toxin is a minimally invasive treatment used to temporarily immobilise the overactive muscles of facial expression to help prevent new wrinkles from forming and soften existing ones. These wrinkles are typically seen between the eyebrows, on the forehead, next to the eyes and around the lips where the Botox may be injected – for a smoother, more youthful appearance.

What are the other benefits?

Botox treatment can also enhance the shape of your smile, reduce neck bands and treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). More recently, Botox has been successfully used to treat migraines. Botox is safe when used correctly. The effect is temporary and typically lasts for up to three months.

FILLERS

Fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage and sagging can give your skin an older appearance. Hyaluronic acid injectable fillers act fast to fill in fine lines and deep wrinkles, and are widely documented to add volume and help give you skin that’s plumper and beautifully firm, with the signs of ageing visibly reduced.

Rejuvenation using injectable fillers is minimally invasive and has minimal down time. The results are immediate and last for approximately nine months.

DERMAPEN/MICRO-NEEDLING

What is Collagen Induction Therapy?

It is a minimally invasive rejuvenation procedure to give you firmer, fuller more youthful looking skin.

What can I expect?

Collagen is your body’s natural firming agent. Collagen Induction Therapy with the Dermapen device uses vertical micro-needling to stimulate the collagen-producing centres in your skin, helping to give you tighter skin, improved pigmentation and less fine lines and wrinkles.

What are other the benefits?

Collagen Induction Therapy requires very little down time. Recovery is fairly instant and can also be used for treatment of scars caused by trauma and acne, as well as to stimulate hair growth in early male pattern balding - offering a non-surgical solution to alopecia.

How is the procedure performed?

The procedure is done with local anaesthetic applied to the skin. Typically, four to six treatments are all that’s needed to achieve ultimate results.
